Virtual Human Resources Sailing Team excels at Skandia Cowes Week 2006.

Team Virtual Human Resources a newly formed team of ex-Portsmouth Univerity sailors excelled at their first major championship, Skandia Cowes week. Skandia Cowes week was held between 29th July - 5th August 2006 and attracted over 1,000 yachts and 8,500 competitors from accross the globe.

Virtual Human Resources is sponsoring the Laser SB3 Sportsboat team of Danny Brooks, Hywell Roberts and Steven Cleland. The Laser SB3 is a one design 6 metre high performance sports keel boat with an Asymmetric Spinnaker capable of speeds in excess of 20 knots.

Skandia Cowes week attracted an entry of 91 SB3s the largest and most competitive fleet at Cowes. At their first major competition under the banner of Team Virtual Human Resources; Danny, Hywell and Steve recorded an impressive 6th place overall after 7 days of very tight and competitive sailing. Virtual Human Resources looks forward to its continued sponsorship of the team throughout the 2005 - 2006 season and wishes the team every success at their next competition in September.
